Continuing Education

 

Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners can earn Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit through their New York State Tobacco Cessation Centers. Dental contact hours are also available.

 

Self-Study Booklet (1-2 CME)

This program is designed to facilitate adoption of evidence-based practices in tobacco treatment, as described in the PHS Clinical Practice Guideline for Treating Tobacco Use and Dependence (2008 Update). Available upon request call 518 459-2550.

Also available through the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) is a 2-credit CME on tobacco cessation.

 

Statewide Collaborative Conference Calls

(1 hour of various types of continuing education credit offered depending on content of call)
